Audition Information

110 in the Shade

STG is staffed completely by volunteers, and auditions are open to anyone with a love or an interest in performing and live theatre. 

And remember, if being in the spotlight isn't your thing, there are lots of other ways to get involved!

Auditions will be held in the Southside Theatre Guild auditorium at 20 W. Campbellton Street, Fairburn GA 30213.

Performances will be:
July 24, 25, 26, 27
August 1, 2, 3
August 8, 9, 10. 

Thursday, Friday and Saturday performances at 8:00pm
Sunday matinees only at 2:30pm.

All roles are volunteer only, non-paid, non-equity.

AUDITIONS: Sunday, May 4 and Monday, May 5, 2014 at 7PM. Sign in will begin at 6:30PM both nights.

CALL BACKS: will be Tuesday, May 6, 2014 at 7PM

NOTE: If you are unable to attend these auditions, you may arrange an alternate date or (better yet), submission of a YouTube audition.  

Auditions will consist of:

- Cold Readings (from the script)

- Choreography (wear comfortable clothing/shoes.)

- Music (bring a prepared piece. Bring backing tracks, if possible.)

*Anyone interested in auditioning for the role of Lizzie should be familiar with the songs, "Old Maid", "Simple Little Things", and "Raunchy". 

NOTE: If you are auditioning for Chorus and/or Dance only, you will not need to stay for cold readings. 

Prepared monologues are NOT required.
